They showed up on time and cleaned a very dusty house due to a major renovation. They did a very thorough job and the team leader had me check each room as they finished. I found a few missed spots later on after they left but to be fair, this was a big job and a few missed items that didn’t get wiped down wasn’t a big deal!

Sparkly Maids easily scheduled my service on a moment’s notice. Alicia was courteous and hardworking, a real dynamo. Bathrooms were cleaned thoroughly and left sparkling. We got a deep clean after life got a bit away from us. Manuela worked so incredibly hard and was very thorough. What I really appreciate it was that every time she finished a room, she would ask me to check it over to see if she missed anything. When she asked by room, it wasn’t a rush for me to try and check everything before she left or something like that. It was very clear that she was focused on doing a good job, not a quick job. Great service I would use again.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I'm very frustrated. Scheduling was overly complicated. I paid for a deep clean service for my home and got a regular clean, at best. Grout and shower heads weren't cleaned, spots on the floor were completely missed, pictures weren't dusted, etc. I can't say that I would recommend Sparkly Maids.

We’re sorry this visit didn’t go as smoothly as we would have hoped, especially on an already busy moving day. To provide context, Sparkly Maids operates with a one-hour arrival window, which is communicated during online booking and in confirmation and reminder messages prior to service. Your scheduled window was 3:00–4:00 PM. While the team arrived slightly outside that window, the delay was approximately 15 minutes rather than over an hour. Our operating hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Outside of those hours, messages are queued for follow-up. That said, we understand how important timely communication is, particularly during moves, and your feedback has been shared internally. We’ve also recently made updates to our booking and checkout process to add even more visual clarity around arrival windows and expectations. While this information was already provided at the time of your booking, we believe continued refinement helps prevent confusion and improve the overall experience. We’re glad to hear the cleaning itself met expectations. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to serve you, and we genuinely wish the experience had gone better. We had some home repairs and painting done and booked Sparkly Maids to do a "post construction" clean before we moved back in. And WOW! I've never seen cleaning done this well! I'm a bit of a clean and neat freak so I expected I'd still need to touch up a few places but these folks did such an amazing job that I almost cried with relief. They actually exceeded even my ridiculously high standard of clean. While they required a few more hours to clean paint off the floors, which increased the cost by over half of the quote amount, its still some of the best money we've spent on this project. We will absolutely use them again!

UPDATE: Management called me to apologize and offered me a $130 credit which essentially translates to a free cleaning. I appreciate that they rectified the situation. Booked a first time clean online with a scheduled arrival between 12-1PM. I received a call at 11:45 saying the team was on a clean that was talking longer than expected and they would need to come at 2. I then got a call at 2:30pm saying they need to schedule for another day. Things happen but to not come out and do the job at all for a first time client was unprofessional.

Thank you for your feedback. You are absolutely right, especially as a first-time client, this experience did not meet our standards. We want to provide brief context while taking full responsibility. Earlier that day, the cleaning team assigned to you was completing a Deep Cleaning that unexpectedly turned into a post-construction level clean due to heavy paint splatters and excessive dust. This significantly extended the scope and caused a cascade delay. It was and unplanned scope of work not previously disclosed to us. As soon as we identified the issue, we contacted you to adjust the arrival window from 12–1 PM to 2–3 PM, which you agreed to. Unfortunately, the prior service continued longer than expected, and when another delay became necessary, we understand you were unable to accommodate it. At that point, the service was canceled, and a $30 rebooking credit was issued. That said, the outcome was unacceptable for a first-time visit, and we fully own that. We also attempted to contact you directly because we genuinely wanted to make things right. We would still welcome the opportunity to do so by offering a complimentary two-hour cleaning service, no obligation, to demonstrate the level of reliability and service you should have received from the start.

I had a deep cleaning done and I was impressed with the service. Manuela M. did a great job of getting into every nook and cranny to clean as best she can. She was super helpful and was quick to ask if I had any concerns with the service. While the price was steep (~$500 as I had an additional two hours of service on top of the deep cleaning fee), I think it was a solid job and would definitely ask for the service again.

I told the person before coming that our dishwasher was broken and I needed them done by hand and paid for it but all they did was throw everything in the dishwasher and close it. Not worth the money paid to this cleaning company.

I ordered a deep cleaning service for my home in Dallas , the cleaners were professional and punctual which I loved . They did quite good job unfortunately they were not able to clean the oven and forgot to do my gaming chair besides that they were good. Sparky maid customer service were prompt to look into the issue and gave me credit for 1 hour worth of service . Which I appreciate. I would recommend them .

I booked a 2hr cleaning online, not a special service and with that I provided the specific areas I wanted cleaned. Which I stated was kitchen and bathrooms (2) only. The cleaning was clean, this is more about their communication and lack of following directions. Firstly I received a call the next day saying that the time I booked, they were unable to fill and wanted to schedule it for the following day. Why was I then able to book it online for that time slot? Secondly the lady that came did a good job cleaning, but she cleaned the whole house, vacuumed, dusted, mopped. She spent very little time in the kitchen, the microwave was cleaned but the oven and fridge were not. Which was the entire reason I hired a cleaner was for the oven and fridge but apparently those are not considered part of the kitchen. So while the house was cleaned which is nice, the 2 items I wanted cleaned and the only reason I got a cleaner were not touched. If you book be sure and be extra specific, as designating an area or room is not enough.

Tyler, I sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused. You're absolutely right to be disappointed - we dropped the ball on multiple fronts here. First, regarding the scheduling issue: unfortunately, one of our team members called in sick the morning of your scheduled service, which left us short-staffed and unable to honor the original time. While this was an unexpected situation, we should have better systems in place to prevent online bookings when we can't guarantee availability, and I understand how frustrating it was to receive that rescheduling call. More importantly, I apologize that our cleaner didn't follow your specific instructions. You booked a 2-hour service specifically to focus on the kitchen and bathrooms only, and you provided detailed notes about cleaning appliances, drawers, and pantry. Your full 2 hours should have been dedicated to those areas and tasks you specified - not vacuuming and cleaning the entire house. This defeats the entire purpose of choosing an hourly service with specific instructions. You're absolutely right that "designating an area or room" should be enough. That's exactly how our hourly service is supposed to work, and our cleaner should have spent the entire time on your kitchen (including the oven, fridge, drawers, and pantry as you noted) and your two bathrooms. This was a communication and training failure on our part. I'd like to make this right. Please contact us directly at support@sparklymaids.com -- so we can rectify the issue. Thank you for the detailed feedback - it helps us improve our training and communication.
