Yes, I had to wait 6 months for completion, plus a month beyond that. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely-I’d do it again. Drove to the factory in Utah for a “free” installation, met the owner and staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Works as designed, very well built and functional. Love it! Suggestion: I’d make a groove in the post that the cover locking pin could rest in when pulling the ring out 90* to unlock. The locking pin is easy to bump and it tries to lock itself unintentionally. Additionally when the rear cover is folded forward, there should be a latching method to secure the cover from potentially lifting when driving at higher speeds. It does have good weight to it, which would probably keep it in place, so this idea is simply for insurance. Waiting for the bed tray system for my Jeep Gladiator! 😎

The new Renegade Cover is great, just what I was looking for. The cover is a little heavy, but considering it's covering a full size bed it's what you would expect. Instillation was somewhat difficult because of the size and weight. I would recommend having Renegade installing if you are close to Utah. Other than some minor cosmetic damage from packing, I am very happy with the cover and would highly recommend it. If you need a heavy duty, protective, locking cover than this is it.

I purchased a renagade Cover for my 23 tundra and I was told upon purchase I would have to wait approximately 25 weeks. My cover was ready just a little before that.. I would like to start off by saying it was well worth the wait ! my cover installed easily and doesn’t leak water at all. the quality of and construction and the materials used are second to none ! There really is nothing else on the market that’s equivalent to this cover. The customer service was excellent. There was a small ishipping issue upon recieving the cover and the owner of Renagade covers Took the time to call me to resolve it to my satisfaction! Thank you Lori Anderson and Scott Packer! We purchased two covers for the chevy HD3500 long bed. As you know the lead time is long but they did hit their delivery date. The quality is excellent!! The nonskid coating is great. It looks awesome too! It took some time to install the cover. I reached out the customer service and they responded quickly. Scott, the owner, spent a lot time with me going over the install and how to make adjustments. Don't expect it to fit "like a glove" ours didn't because chevy's bed rail is curved front to back. However, with some extra foam weather stripping it will be fine. For me the biggest take away is the build quality. Excellent, it's built like a tank! Thanks again and I will definitely buy more of your products.

Absolutely love the cover! Customer service was fabulous. The instructions to install were somewhat confusing but doable. We installed the cover ourselves and it fit perfectly as ordered.

Absolutely one of the most professional and customer friendly company I have ever worked with. The product is everything that is exactly as advertised. Installed on a GMC Denali with Carbon Fiber bed. Installation was straight forward. Highly recommend.

Great tonneau cover, the best design and construction of anything available! The wait time is not ideal, but trust me, it's worth it. Free in-person installation and a very helpful customer service department for any questions you may have after the purchase.

A couple of things: 1) This cover is amazing! I had a Diamondback before and love this way more! I like that it folds up to let you access the whole bed, but it doesn’t take away from its strength! The design and build is great and functions perfectly. 2) Lead Time is depressing…it takes an unbelievable amount of time to get this cover. That’s the only negative thing I can say about my experience. 3) Customer service and response was great! After getting the cover, I reached out to them because I thought I was missing a piece…only to find out I just over looked it. I emailed them back to say never mind I have the piece, but they sent extras to me anyway just in case! Easy to communicate with and they seem to want to address any concern thoroughly and quickly! All around I’d say I enjoyed my experience and I’d buy this cover again. The only reason I didn’t go 5 starts is because of the long lead time.

I'd probably give this 5 stars if it didn't take 7 months to receive. It was worth the wait, though. I almost went with a cover from the competition, but I really liked its clean looks and how low profile it is. It's not light, but it is STOUT! Overall I really like my Renegade Cover

I love this cover. It is over engineered and will withstand anything. The ability to add on attachments truly sets this cover apart. Don’t forget to buy the rubber to fill the tracks up if you live in a place where you might get ice to freeze in there. Also, you’ll need some work gloves to handle this thing in the summer time. It gets hot! If you have the means to get one, don’t wait. You won’t regret it.

After doing a little research, I decided to go with Renegade. It was a bit of a wait to get it delivered, but they even state that on their website. I love the low profile look. It feels solid. The install was relatively straightforward. The fine tuning is what took up most of my time, but once I got it all dialed in. It all works smoothly. I ran it through the wash to check out the water proofing. There was a little bit of water near the tailgate, but I figured it was from the high pressure wash. But I didn’t buy the cover to keep water out. I’m more concerned about keeping my belongings secure. I like that there isn’t any external locking hardware to be messed with or damaged. Great product! Great product. It is very well designed and engineered. I have had about every type of bed organization from tool box to toppers and felt like it was all cheaply made. This is the exact opposite. This cover is designed and built by a machinist who demands better than the rest of the market can provide. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars so the wait time. But that being said, I would order another in a second when the need arises.

Not just solid materials but you can tell that the folks that built/welded this take pride in their work. Having other heavy duty covers, I’ve been able to compare with real world use and hands down, best of the best.

So when we decided to buy a new truck I started researching truck bed covers. I looked at standard covers and metal covers and decided on a Renegade Covers. The cover is metal, lockable, multi functional, can carry 2000lbs on top, and expandable. I believe you would have to use dynamite to get this cover open when it's locked! Did the installation myself with some fine tuning. The cover is perfect and what I was looking for!

Everything so far has been great, the lead time was long but they were up front about that from the start. I received it and installed it in about 4hrs total. Takes a few adjustments to get it just right. It is quite stable and strong. First rain on it yesterday and no leaks.

It looks like a great cover but 6 months to a year is a unacceptable lead time to get a bed cover. So I asked for a refund cause I need a cover for work and my tools. I was told 2 to 3 weeks to receive my $3000. It kinda sounds like the company doesn't have the money to keep it going.

Struggled with how to review this because product seems solid but it was a poor customer service experience. Long delays on completion (about 6 months later than anticipated) and updates were virtually non existent, which was the bigger issue. The only updates I can remember are from times I reached out to get an update and there were no proactive updates discussing the delays. I did see an improvement in customer service towards the end as I think they hired more support so hopefully they get that worked out.

Positives: It's extremely STRONG and WATERPROOF (when you put the foam adhesive on). I went to Lowe's and bought extra foam to make sure that it is water tight. It's also very EASY TO TAKE OFF but you need 2 people to do it. Negatives: It's a little harder to install on to your truck than some of the other tonneau covers because the latches need to be hung in the inside of the truck. Also, you need to wait a 6 months or so for it to be manufactured and sent to you. But overall I am very happy with my Renegade Cover!

The product is superb and the customer service is excellent. They did the installation and it was perfectly installed. The only problem I had was a delay due to the supply chain, Covid, freight delays, et. al. They kept me informed of the progress. They are continually innovating and coming up with associated accessories. I am a happy owner and it gets a lot of looks from owners of other covers.

Did a lot of browsing to find the type of cover that would be durable, secure, lockable, and provide a level of protection from the elements. This had that but more it allows you to stack on top of the cover and their integrated L-track (Logistics track) system is amazing and works great and provides a ton of accessorizing. Company had some issues sourcing supplies and took a while to finally get it completed however they were about to ship it to California as I paid for shipping but I was traveling through Utah and gave them a call to see if it was ready and it was so I asked if I could pick it up instead and just reimburse my shipping cost they said sure so I stopped in to get it and asked if they install and they said yes and they would do it for free. I was in a hurry and asked if they could do it today and luck was on my side they had a previous appointment but they were not there and they couldn’t reach them so I slid into that spot an two hours later I was on my way. Despite they wait The quality, support and care this company put into it was worth the wait. Customer Satisfaction is Key!

Update as of 8/18/2023: To clear up any confusion, my husband had to contact his bank and dispute the charges. He did receive a refund after filing the dispute through his bank....not because the company responded to our inquiries. Original review: After waiting for almost a year to receive the truck cover, it finally arrived. A few days after installation, it rained. Water was pouring into the truck bed from multiple areas of the cover. My husband contacted the business about this. He worked with them to try to fix the leaking, as he was really looking forward to this truck cover. Long story short, it couldn't be corrected, and he shipped the cover back in November. The business received it on Nov 10th. After multiple attempts to contact the company about the status of his refund, he gets no response. It is now December, over a month later. Be careful when doing business with this company. We will be reporting them. How unfortunate and unprofessional. My husband has been patient for much longer than anyone should be and is out of a few thousand dollars.

Great customer service. Very responsive to my questions throughout the process. Had a couple of installation questions on the weekend and Dave was available to help over the phone directions. The cover is expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s exactly what I was looking for and very secure. No extra keys to carry, it locks with the tailgate and for as heavy duty as it is, the panels are easy to fold. I have tied quite a few things to the cover and the tie down rings are excellent. Directions for installation could be a bit clearer but I figured it all out in about 3 hours for a nice tight fit! Check out their site for photos of my AT4 with the badass bed cover!!! Cover appears to be high quality and built to last. Very secure and no locks to deal with. Only reason why I’m not giving it five stars is because hardware was cheap and bolts and locking mechanism are starting to rust. one of the rubber seals is constantly popping out. I also wish the cover followed the contour of the truck bed rather than being same size, front to back. Truck beds are narrower in the back than in the front. There is sufficient overlap in the rear however towards the front, closer to the cab there is only about an inch on either side sitting on the bed rails. Price reflects overall quality however it is fair to be more critical when you spend more.

Love this cover. I’ve had others in the past but none compared to this. Easy install VERY durable and I love the locking system. Would definitely recommend.

The cover is awesome. Highly recommended. I wanted one that was bear-proof and relatively waterproof. It does leak a bit where the tailgate step on my 2022 F350 is slightly recessed compared to the rest of the tailgate. Many issues with communication and timing though. I was told 13-15 weeks, and it actually took 7.5 months. Zero updates on any delay happening until I started asking as my due date approached. They continued to fail to provide updates, would not answer the phone, email, or text messages, most of the time, even though their website says to use those methods. I asked a question after delivery, and still have no answer, a month later (June 2022). Also, the instructions are poor and do not match their own Youtube video for installation. With all that time not building covers due to pandemic supply constraints, you would think they had plenty of time to update the instructions and communication issues, but they didn't. I still would do it over if I needed another one, because the cover is that good.

It took 6 months after order to get. It was expensive. It's a great cover. Very versitile with attachements to the L track for hooks and most anything. Super well built. Installed on 2022 Tacoma long bed. I looked hard at Diamondbacks but the configuration relative to the Renegade seemed limited. I did add aero bars for hauling bikes. That works well and can be removed easily (four bolts). The cover folds up when needed. It is super well made. I would not get the torsion bar that provides for operation of the cover release using one side. It was difficult to get working and made both sides hard to operate. You just have to make sure you open both to same positions. The long wait and communications about order status was frustrating. When I did talk with someone they were helpful and friendly. It's a five star cover. Getting one is not a five star experiance but was worth it.

We love our new renegade cover. We are looking forward to seeing the new bed rack/ shelf renegade is developing. We highly recommend Scott and his team for providing us with a great product.

I love my cover it adds a nice clean look to my truck. It's great to be able to move my tie down locations. My wife loves the trunk space it gave us for when we travel. I also loved that they installed the cover for free at their shop, well worth the drive.

This cover is RUGGED! Functional and looks wickedly awesome. Advertised to withstand an ATV on top. I believe it. First thing I did was get on top and jumped on it. Did not budge. Extremely well built, with quality material. I expect this cover to last as long as my truck. Can’t wait to see what other accessories this company may concoct in the future. Highly recommend this company.

Highly recommend Renegade Covers! The install was a bit of a challenge as I had a new body style on my truck and had to work through that but their customer support and quality construction are unmatched and I got one-on-one face time with the guys that started the business to help me out with the install. It’s hard to find that level of customer service these days. Remember, you may not read all good reviews but keep in mind, businesses are dealing with post Covid supply issues and staffing is lacking everywhere. Go into the process with some patience and you’ll come out really happy that you did!

Just an OK top in my opinion. It does look decent once installed, however there are a few key details missing in the instructions and the top I got was not fully assembled as per those instructions. As mentioned the lead time is extremely long, my ship date got moved 3 or 4 times as well. Mine has always leaked since new, a little maybe acceptable but this one leaks more then much cheaper tri-fold covers. I was getting some support in the beginning but no longer. Just empty promises. Premium price for these covers you don't get matching service. It's been over a year on my truck and the coating is now starting to come off as well. Very disappointed In the quality of this bed cover for the cost.œ

Excellent truck bed cover. As others have said there is a decent wait time for the cover to be built and sent out. I had great communication with the company. Kayla would email about every two weeks with an update and the stage that the cover was in. I did however have an issue once I did received mine due to an accidental packing of the same side mount. I emailed them that weekend and they next day shipped both of the correct brackets. They apologized for it and can tell they care about all their customers. The cover seals very well minimal rain gets in. I have yet to test the weight capacity but I will only be mounting a rooftop tent and paddle boards in the future.
