My cat had a sudden onset of an infected anal gland and our regular vet didnt have availability same day so they referred us here. They got us in same day and got my boy relief. They were very carrying and compassionate with him.

My dog was in excruciating pain, and I urgently needed an appointment. Despite the unfavorable results, they managed to accommodate me as soon as possible. The entire staff was incredibly professional and composed, making the experience as pleasant as possible. I can’t express enough positive sentiments about this place.

I own a dog training company and I have referred multiple clients to Dr. Coatney, as I’ve had good experiences with him. I recently went with a client to his first vet visit at Kingsland, he specifically made the appointment with Dr. Coatney and the front desk staff took it upon themselves to make the appointment with a different vet, which we didn’t know before arrival. And the front desk staff was supremely unconcerned with their mistake. Needless to say, I was extremely unhappy with the vet. Her lack of knowledge was astounding. The dog was dealing with a serious skin infection that we wanted a second opinion on, and she offered zero helpful advice, barely looked him over even though the owner was billed for an “exam”, did not suggest any diagnostics, and did not engage in any discussion with me even though I was attempting to have a productive discussion and actually figure out what was wrong with the dog. The entire appointment was literally a waste of time that my client then had to pay for. Prior to leaving this review I have tried twice to contact the office manager to find out why our appointment was handled so unprofessionally. I could not get her on the phone and I was told I just wouldn’t be able to speak to her, that I should just send an email to the office with whatever the reason for my call was. The lack of customer service and lack of knowledge at this clinic is astounding. This clinic is a perfect example of why I don’t typically recommend corporate owned vet clinics and I will no longer be referring anyone here.

Sabrina (front desk), Kate(technician), and Dr. Kang were awesome! A sudden change in my cats sitting position and tail had me calling different places for availability and services, and I happened to get referred here. I was fortunate enough to schedule an appointment the same day, and found the process very smooth Everyone was so welcoming and kind, it had been a while since Ginger 🐱 had been to a vet so I was a bit nervous but it all went great. Everything was explained and all questions were answered. I was told the $ of the initial exam upfront, and was given an estimate for the medicine once the initial exam was done Now a day later, Ginger is doing much better, he can sit properly, and is almost meowing at his usual frequency ☺️Very grateful for everyone here! It has helped put me and my familys mind at ease to see his health improve 🩷

This animal clinic is the best. Had a scare with my dog found them online. Made an appointment got her checked out and they were very nice and reasonably priced. They even did a followup phone call to check on her a few days later. I will definitely keep them as her vet team moving forward.

We brought our frenchie here on an emergency visit, our other vet wasn't able to see her right away. The staff was kind and helpful.The vet - Dr. Free handled our Cooper with care and urgency. Although the outcome for our pup was not great, this facility handled us gently and with care. I recommend them, as they didn't know us - but they treated us like we were family. If you love your pet like family, this place will handle them with the same care. I even received a grief card from their staff. When it's time for another pup, we will certainly have them treated there.

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Kingsland Vet. I’ve already been very happy taking my own dogs - and pet lizard - there for years. They are kind and caring without fail to all three. Today, however, the amazing ladies at the front desk went above and beyond! I showed up with a lost dog I found wandering around last night. Not only did they help me find the contact information I needed to return the pup, but, when they saw this poor dog surrounded by people she didn’t know and in an unfamiliar place was nervous thy did everything they could to make the experience pleasant. They gave her cuddles, got some canned non-dairy cheese for her to lick and even gave us a private room when the lost pup was too nervous and started barking at other dogs. All of this for no pay! Thanks to their efforts the dog was reunited and left feeling loved. Thank you for caring so much for all dogs and I will continue to be a loyal patient!! 💕

The quality of service/care continues to be good. The only problem I have is their rates seem to keep going up and visits (2x a year) are forced on you for basic meds (flea/heartworm).

I have been to this clinic many times, and on my last visit I was impressed with the level of service I received, the Veterinary Doctor took the time to examine my dog without rushing, and was very helpful explaining the diagnostic and the treatment, his assistant was very helpful and polite, thank you for your excellent service.

Came in a second time for the same specific problem in a spec of 5 months. They required a repeat physical we just had at the previous appointment in order to address the specific need we came in for, again. The specific need was asked to be evaluated at the previous visit with an inconclusive diagnosis. This time, same problem, immediate 100% sure diagnosis, which we could have had that 5 mons ago- same symptoms. So, in conclusion, our dog itched for 5 additional months and the clinic got paid twice for the same services. Not great customer service.

I brought my cat for a checkup after he'd been sneezing and sounded congested. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Kang took the time to answer all my questions and explained the that he had an upper respiratory infection and the medications he was prescribing. Kate was a wonderful technician and they're transparent with the prices. I appreciated it a lot and would definitely recommend this clinic to any pet owner.

The front desk staff member was notably unprofessional, displaying a lack of courtesy and organization. After waiting patiently for over an hour without any acknowledgment or update, we decided to leave the clinic. Despite its convenient location within walking distance, we chose not to return. Instead, I drove approximately 20 minutes to my previous veterinary hospital, which I knew maintained higher standards of service and professionalism.

I use to like coming to this vet for over 10 years, but now I don't know I can recommend this place anymore. My most recent visit they doubled the price of my visit with little warning. For quick visits they charge me a lot it seems.

Are little dogs have been well cared for by Kingsland Blvd. Animal Clinic for the last 10 plus years. All the staff and Veterinarians have been stellar. Special Kudos to Michelle and Ray for their kennel care.

Kind and caring vets and tech. Check out time always seems a bit slow. A convenient location but their prices are very high.

Dr.Coatney is an outstanding Veternarian. He has a calming demeanor with animals. He quickly recognized my dog, Sadie, was being protective of me when she growled at him. He didn’t want to muzzle her, so he suggested removing her from my presence to calm her. It worked! He also saved my dog’s life when she was diagnosed with heartworms, despite the monthly preventitive. She is now healthy & strong.

Professional and caring. Our 14 month old GSD had a bad experience at another vet. Our vet at Kingsland took his time with Adam. Very good experience for a high drive large dog. Would highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

Not only did they get me in same day but within an hour of me calling for availability! The vet and vet techs were outstanding. Very fast, very understanding, and very kind! Had a bunny emergency a couple days before Christmas, and Kingsland was the only vet hospital in the Houston area with an appointment available. I came from 45 minutes away, and I am so grateful I did! Dr. Chen is so knowledgeable and reassured me that my bunny would be okay.

We've been taking our cats here for 9 years and I have to tell you the service has really gone downhill. Dr. Low was a great vet and we loved her, putting aside the poor management issues at this location. She's unfortunately gone now (left over a year ago) and the rest of the vets just aren't worth the hassle. Case in point, we brought our 4 cats in for full checkups about a month ago to include bloodwork, it was a substantial cost. They included fecal testing which I asked them to do separately because I had not brought in samples. They refused and still charged me for it. One of our cats needed a followup blood test (due to some abnormal numbers) in ~ a month, so we agreed I would bring the fecal specimens in when I brought her for the followup. Well I did that today and was told we were out of the grace period and they wanted to charge me another $80 per sample (for which I had already paid)!!! They didn't ever tell me there was a grace period nor was it on the paperwork anywhere either. I am livid, spoke to the manager who blamed it on their 3rd party. Sorry, but your team should have told us there was a grace period. We are DONE with this vet clinic and will be looking for another clinic with better customer service.

Quick in and out, only complaint was hearing the vet tech talk smack about sons dog to her coworkers..shoulda been a little quieter. (Took her for flea meds)

My sweet giant dog, Sterling, initially started at St. Francis Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, which we loved so much. But when that practice closed, they let us know Kingsland Animal Hospital would be absorbing most of the staff/clinic, so we made the easy decision to switch over. I can’t say enough great things about this vet clinic. Since I don’t have a preference, I usually see a different vet/vet tech, and I’ve had nothing less than a great visit each time for the last 5 years. Sterling has had a variety of things done from teeth cleanings to extensive bloodwork. The vets always take their time genuinely explaining or answering concerns and never try to upsell unnecessary treatments or meds. It’s easy to make an appointment either online or on the phone, and whenever I need pet records, the front desk staff will kindly and quickly send things over. I love this clinic so much that when I moved 8 hours away (and attempted one visit at a nearby vet), I ended up keeping Kingsland Animal Clinic as Sterling’s primary vet and just schedule appointments when I come to visit. I’m so thankful for all they do for my (not so) little 9 year old puppy!

We have been patients since 2023 and have always had a wonderful experience. Today change that for us. We brought our little boy in for a tech appointment. When Joceline, the tech called his name so she can take him back, she had a very cold demeanor. Not very welcoming like we always experience from the other staff. She gave him his Benadryl shot before he received his bordetella since he has a reaction. I heard him cry a few times in the back which was expected since he was given a shot. Joceline brought him back to me so I can hold him for 15 minutes so SHE. Can then give him the bordetella after ward. . Joceline then calls my puppy to take him back, and almost immediately comes back and asks me if I want to give it to him. I was very confused. She said he was trying to bit her and wanted me to give it to him. My puppy has never bit anyone and definitely never had this issue before at the clinic. The techs always love him, and brag that he handled his vaccines well. She then blamed it on him being a chihuahua . I want to emphasize that he has never acted like this and he was terrified to even go near Joceline. I had to give my puppy the bordetella. After I gave it to him Joceline rolled her eyes and walked away. It was such an awful experience and I’m worried about how he was treated when he was in the back because this is not his behavior and the fact that he was scared to have Joceline near him is extremely concerning. Our doctor is fantastic, but unfortunately unprofessional and lack of compassion from techs can cost them patients.

Fantastic job. We recently moved into the area and found the perfect exotic veterinary clinic for our Bunny.

From the first time we walked into the doors of Kingsland (Dec 2022), we were treated with love and professionalism. Dr Low shared a chocolate cupcake with our 13 yr old English Bulldog before he crossed the rainbow bridge. Their entire staff waited till he took his last breath before getting back to work. What respect they have for their patients, I will never forget. Dr. Low continued to be our Veterinarian for the new boy till she left their clinic. We met Dr. Coatney 2 weeks ago, when he had to remove a stuffed animal from the boys stomach he had swallowed. He too, showed compassion and answered all of our questions we had following surgery. He called a few days later to check in on his patient. I can’t say enough good things about their doctors and staff. From the time you call, when you walk in the door or even check out… ALL of them give you the feeling that you’re in the right place and your fur baby is in good hands. If you’re looking for a vet or just need a second opinion, I highly recommend that you give them a chance and see for yourselves. I’ve been bringing my dogs here for 15 years. They are always kind and professional. They are amazing with my current dog, who initially, had major anxiety with anyone except me. Now, he’s comfortable with them as well. I won’t go anywhere else!

I love Kingland Blvd Animal Clinic for my fur babies. My dog is now 11 years old and has been going since he was 9th months old. They are dependable and honest and will make sure you have the right knowledge to take care of your dog properly. I would recommend!!

I do not recommend this clinic at all. We have been going here for years and every time there seems to be something. It always seems you will deal with the same 2 things. Rude people that can't be bothered to give you the time of day, and a slew of things to bleed you of every penny they can. When I called them to inform them that I was wildly disappointed with the care and service that we have received over the last 5 years and told them that we are changing vets for good, there was not even a "sorry" or "what can we do" nothing.... I was asked if I wanted the vet records transfered and then told to have a good day. This place couldn't care less about you or your animals. Do not come here. I will not be reccomemding this vet to anyone for any reason.

i’m a new pet owner and i was asked if i wanted to do shots that i thought were already apart of what i was there for and agreed price only to go to the front being charged 200 more than i expected. doesn’t feel like good principles.

The front desk handled my check in very poorly. The vet and tech were super nice and helpful. Someone at the front desk named Amanda or something was very rude. I tried to tell her my name and when she couldn't find me. I spelled my name out. Still couldn't find me. She asked for my phone number. I said my phone number. Still couldn't find me. I asked her if I could wrote it down for her because there seemed to possibly be a language barrier. She smiled and very condescendingly said no. I knew I had an appointment, but she just stared at me as if there was nothing else she could do. Thankfully, her coworkers stepped in to help and found my appointment. I don't have a problem if her English wasn't the best but it was the way she didn't apologize or anything about possibly not understanding me and no request for me to have patience that made it seem she was just irritated with having to help and wanted to give me a hard time. Also their prices are high. I've never had to pay so much for presriptions at the clinic I usually go to. Unfortunately, they were closed and we had a slight emergency. Hopefully I never have to return.

This animal clinic is such a pleasant environment to bring my dog to. I think he senses how much the employees here love all the animals that come for a visit. This is a well organized office. Dr. Mueller IA our personal favorite.

I like our Dr. He is personable. The staff is very disorganized. I am rarely greeted when I walk in. I can stand at front desk and it's like I am invisible. They are very disorganized at check out as well. This place is VERY PRICEY. Which I don't mind if service is good but it really is not. I think Drs whether vet or for people don't get the importance of good staff. Left without dogs rabies tag and it was not easy for them to find to give them to me.

I absolutely love this place! I moved here from Dallas and didn't know if I would find a vet that I loved as much as the one in Dallas - I found one that I love more. The doctors are amazing - informative, interact with the dogs and answer all questions. I have seen almost every doctor here and each one has sat down with my dog, talked to her and interacted with her. The office staff is wonderful. This clinic is amazing, I have had zero issues and Riley loves them. I would recommend this to everyone who has a fur baby.
