Tres Leches cake was a hit at my girlfriend's birthday party. Have never seen a cake disappear so fast. Service is great, the cake was ready on time. The cake was also beautifully done. Have had great experiences every time I've been here. Highly recommend.

Birthday vanilla cake was delicious and the new location in Olney is a nice, clean, well lit shop. I will be returning for more.

Wow, just wow!!! I had an unthinkable request on a Friday afternoon. To have a custom 3 tier cake for 80ppl to be ready by the following Tuesday. When I called the Gaithersburg location, I spoke to a very friendly girl named Naomi, who asked that I send over an email with creative ideas and she would get back to me. Within the hour, she explained that my request could be done and to come into the shop later so we could talked details. When I arrived to the store, Naomi wasn’t available but I was able to work with another associate Tina. Tina was AMAZING. She was patient, detail-oriented, any question or design idea I had she took the time to go and ask the baker to make sure it could be done. On Tuesday, the last minute cake was delivered on time and was a hit. Probably one of the best cakes I’ve had in A LONG TIME!!! Classic Bakery, you will forever have my business!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this happen!!!

They created a spectacular cake for my little one with delicious flavors. Absolutely amazing!

Great cake. It was ready on time and with short notice ( a few days) thought due to short notice you have to go to the store in person to order. The cake was outstanding and the service was great. The place is constant full of people so you know it's good. Highly recommend them if you need a great cake in a hurry !

I can’t say enough good things about this bakery. My original baker canceled on me at the very last minute, and they stepped in without hesitation. Not only did they take my order on such short notice, but they brought my vision to life exactly how I imagined it. The cake was absolutely perfect, beautifully designed, super detailed, and truly exceeded my expectations. And the flavor? Incredible. You can tell they put real care into both the look and the taste. I’m extremely grateful for their professionalism, kindness, and talent. This bakery turned a stressful situation into a flawless experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for all future events.

Classic Bakery is my all time favorite. They always make every event super special . Since my son’s 1st bday I have been ordering cakes from them and did one again this year for my sons 9th, that’s says it all. They are the best . Highly recommend .

The cake i ordered for my mothers birthday was okay. It was overpriced for the quality of ingredients used. Generic box cake tastes just as good. The staff was friendly.

We've ordered from classic bakery twice and have an exceptional experience both times. Ordering the cake was effortless (we used the online option) and they were responsive. My family does not like cake. They are usually too sweet with too much frosting. The nutella cake we got was AMAZING!! The layers of cake and frosting were perfectly light and the cake was beautiful. It was the frist time in my life I cut small pieces, so we would have some to take home! Classic Bakery for life and all occasions. Hands down the best ever!!

I ordered the medium tiramisu cake for my daughter’s birthday and it was the most delicious cake I’ve ever eaten! The women at the bakery who helped me was so pleasant and very helpful. I will definitely be going back for the tiramisu cake and also looking forward to trying their other cakes. 😋

Ordered a Mocha birthday cake from the Olney branch for my friend and was pleased with how it turned out. Cake tasted so good and it barely lasted the day! Ethan helped me out choosing the correct size of the cake for the number of people I wanted to serve he and set my order up easy and quick. He was even there a few days later when I came to pick it up and he remembered me and I was in and out super quick! Definitely will return here to try all the other things they have to offer!

Gelato was the highlight imo

I’m giving 3 stars because I ordered tres leches and I got a vanilla cake with strawberry cream filling. The lady at the desk told me it was tees leches. It was a dry(er) cake. It was delicious, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not what it was advertised as or what I wanted. The staff are great and very kind. The bakery has a lot of options for cake. Some need to be pre-ordered. My sis in law ordered a Nutella cake a month ago from a different location and got a chocolate cake with cherry filling. I don’t know if they’re creating their own spin on their cakes, but it throws off the experience.

For the most part, Classic Bakery makes superb cakes and desserts. Unfortunately, a recent experience with the owner and manager has completely changed my opinion of this once “classic” bakery. Customer service leaves much to be desired. Although they claimed their goal was to ensure I was a satisfied customer, the owner’s attitude proved otherwise. He was defensive and dismissive, repeatedly trying to justify the issue rather than listening to my concerns or giving me the benefit of the doubt His “apology” only came after attempting to discredit everything I said—and by that point, it meant nothing. When he offered a store credit, I declined. I no longer wish to do business with a company that clearly doesn’t value its customers. The call ended with the owner telling me there was “something seriously wrong” with me, all while I could hear Someone (Who I believe was the manager Jessica since she was my first point of contact and said they would be calling me) giggling in the background—completely unprofessional behavior. I felt completely set up on this call. I’m truly disappointed. I can’t believe this person represents the face of CB Needless to say, I will not be returning to Classic Bakery. Fortunately, there are plenty of other bakeries in the area that offer not only spectacular products but also the respect and professionalism customers deserve.

The cake was worth every penny. I needed a full sheet cake for a Naval Officer's Retirement. Hope Stanphill at Classic Bakery was spectacular: friendly, professional, helpful. She answered myriad questions. The cake got rave reviews at the Reception. It was gorgeous and delicious. I'd use this bakery again in a heartbeat.

Deliciously delicious .. My friends ask me where I get my cake from. They say it was so delicious.. they eat some take some home with them..While everyone continues to look for a new bakery in town, I stick to Classic.. Old is Gold.. maintaining their quality year after year… I give them all the stars in the cosmos.

We used Classic for my daughter’s 5th birthday party desserts and couldn’t have been happier! Several guests commented on how wonderful the cake tasted. We will definitely be ordering from them for every celebration!

I cannot recommend Classic Bakery enough! We ordered a dinosaur-themed cake for my son's third birthday, and it was an absolute showstopper. Not only was the decoration detailed and perfect, but the taste was phenomenal. The cake was incredibly moist and flavorful—perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. All of our guests were raving about how delicious it was, and many people asked where I got the cake! It’s clear this bakery uses quality ingredients and puts care into every layer. Thank you for making my son's birthday centerpiece such a memorable and delicious hit!
