I am so thankful for this place. First, they were able to see my dog within a two week period from when I was told my dog needed an echocardiogram. Second, the staff was super friendly and tried really hard to make the process as painless and stressfree as possible. Third, Dr Vitt and Bee were so helpful. They answered all of my questions and made it such a good experience. Buddy and I will be back.

I had such a good experience with this clinic. We took our dog here after he was yelping continuously after his morning walk. We suspected that it was one of his reoccurring seizure, however, it feels different. We was taken in very quickly and after Dr. Jeremy examined our dog, we were able to rule out epilepsy. We showed him the video we took and he quickly diagnosed that our dog had neck pain. We were sent home with some pain med and our dog got better within two days. After the care, we had an issue with our insurance denying our claim, I had to reach out to the clinic again for assistance. Dr. Jeremy wrote a letter which helped our appeal and our claim was approved. I cannot appreciate the team here enough for their help.

Loved this place! Vladimir is the best veterinarian that I've worked with. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as a Chewy but makes up for it in service and quality of care.

Through the years we have been to many (probably too many to be honest...) veterinary ERs and specialist offices, and BVES is just the best in the area. From the reception team, to the emergency staff, to the Oncology department, everyone is so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Through an immensely tough process involving one of our beloved feline children, we developed a mutual trust and everyone worked so hard to take care of her and kept her comfortable. When it was time, all of the doctors who cared for her gave us the most honest answers and information so that we could make the best decision. It was painful (and of course, it will NEVER not be...), but we are so glad that BVES is there for us. Thank you so much for everything.

I want to express my gratitude to the team at Bellevue Veterinary who treated my pup Forrest for an injury to his paws a few weeks ago. He was in a lot of pain and they provided exceptional care and came up with a treatment plan, antibiotics and pain medicine to help him. He is back swimming, running and very happy to be back to 100%. I highly recommend Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty clinic if your fur baby needs help.

Couldnt have been more happy with a horrible situation. From the 3am call, the receptionist was clear, polite and understanding. The vet (wish I could remember his name) very clearly explained to us our little guys situation and gave us every accommodation in his final hours. Top notch facility.

I rushed my 12 year old rottie there when he collapsed. I called ahead and they were ready for him with a gurney. They stabilized him and told me he had a tumor and within 2 hours he was in surgery after they tested and made sure he would be okay. They saved his life and provided excellent care for him there after. He was able to come home next morning. He has a lot of anxiety with people and they understood and all cared for him according. I’m forever grateful for them and the more time I have with my dog.

I had an absolutely appalling experience here on the evening of March 5th around 8:00 PM. My dog was in a clear state of distress—shaking, breathing heavily, and panicking. We did the responsible thing and called ahead, and were told the wait would be approximately two hours. However, upon arriving immediately after that call, the experience shifted completely. The triage nurse on duty was unprofessional, rude, and incredibly sarcastic. Despite the obvious severity of my dog's symptoms, we were told that we would now have to wait six hours or we could just leave. There was zero empathy or medical concern shown for a pet in crisis. We chose to leave, and I am so glad we did. We found another emergency vet nearby that recognized the urgency of the situation and had my dog in treatment within the hour. If you are facing a real emergency, be wary. The lack of professionalism and the fluctuating wait times at this facility are a serious safety concern. I will not be returning.

As a veterinarian, there is no more helpless of a feeling then your pet being so sick they need more help than you can give them. My cat, Lucy, became critically ill in the days after a routine procedure she has had many many times before. After she didn’t improve with the supportive care I tried, I knew that she needed to be hospitalized at a 24 hour facility. She spent 2 days hospitalized at BVES as their team worked to get her little body restarted (she had a bad case of ileus- her gut wasn’t working- and pneumonia on top of that). In no uncertain terms, it was one of the scariest 48 hours of my life. I am SO incredibly grateful for the team that took care of my girl and saved her life. Dr Eule was the day doctor that cared for her for most of her stay and kept me consistently informed with timely and thorough updates, scheduled a visit where I was able to see my little girl and get some snuggles, and was so incredibly compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and a wonderful balance of reassuring while also being realistic about how sick she was. I am incredibly grateful for the overnight doctors that cared for her, and Dr Phillips (I believe!)-the doctor that cared for her on her discharge day. Thank you endlessly to all the amazing techs and support staff that showed my girl love and took care of her needs and treatments while she was there. Thank you to the receptionist who were kind and treated all of our interactions with care. In the scariest of times, I am so grateful to have had a team like that on her side. She would not be here today if she didn’t have them- and for that I am ETERNALLY grateful. 💕 I cannot recommend BVES enough. Thank you for saving my best girl.

We took our 3 year old Lab Retriever here. He was spewing blood out of his butt. The team from the receptionist to nurse assistants are friendly and nice. The doctor gave us detailed information in regards to our doggy’s condition. We appreciate that she was considerate about vet emergency cost and gave us a an estimate on the low and high end, pros and cons of each choice. We choose the high end just because we want whats best for our pup. We picked him up the next day and he was 100x better. We highly recommend them for any pet emergency and will be our first choice for all 3 of our pets( emegency care) Thank You!

My golden retriever was treated for an emergency bladder blockage with amazing care and treatment by the emergency staff. I had multiple treatment options clearly outlined to me by the staff. Ultimately, Bailey was assisted by the staff in passing over 20 bladder stones and able to come home with me the same night. Could not be more thankful for the staff and all their support!

STAY AWAY!!! I just called in to see if I could bring my sick cat in asap and spoke yo an Extremely rude receptionist, who doesn't know a thing. Kept having to put me on hold, to go ask about services and availability. For today, and then again when I asked about tomorrow. Totally clueless! Then, she kept mentioning a service that I told her we have already had done. Not present at all. Like a broken record. Sad. Then she says, she can get her in in 2 wks. I said, what!? I said from the beginning that she's not doing well (which is the reason for calling an emergency clinic), and asking for ASAP! She might not make it 2 wks. Then she says, well My hands are tied. I said, Wow! Then, she hung up on me. People like her have NO business being in a business such as this, answering calls when pet owners are in distress over their sick family member. She needs to go find another job, FAR away from customer service!

Very prompt and compassionate care to our cat. They were straight forward with us and very kind during our emergency. The prices for the emergency services received seemed reasonable.

In November, our five-year-old pug was diagnosed with a rapidly growing, cancerous mast cell tumor in her (tiny!) mouth. The complexity of this situation was beyond what most vets are able to address, and we were given a terminal prognosis with a life expectancy of about a year. However, we were lucky enough to be referred to BVE&S, where Dr. Davis (surgeon) and Dr. Kushino (oncologist) determined a viable path forward, with a strong likelihood of success. The surgery was complex and extensive, involving removing the tumor as well as part of her upper jaw, surrounding soft tissue, and lymph nodes in her neck. They completed this procedure successfully, fully removing the cancer. Now in January her face is healed, she is happy, and while we are still doing our follow-up chemotherapy, she is now expected to live a normal, natural lifespan! Brilliant, skillful, and compassionate, this team represents the absolute peak of what you could hope for in veterinary care.

We had to take our sweet dog, Tano, to the ER last night and had a truly great experience at Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel comforted and reassured during what was a very stressful time. The doctor was incredibly compassionate and took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answering our questions with patience and genuine care. It was clear that he truly cares about the animals he treats, and that meant the world to us as worried pet parents. We’re happy to share that Tano is doing better, and we are so grateful for the excellent care and kindness we received. Thank you to the entire team for making such a difficult night feel so much easier. 🫶🐾

They sound caring and helpful until 20 mins later they tell u last min they can give you consultation but no neurologist available. But that’s a waste of energy, time and money .

Our evening was spent by Ubu’s side as he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. It’s been 16 years. Our hearts are broken. Bellevue Emergency was beyond kind. Ubu was in respiratory distress and was taken directly back for oxygen treatment. After triage, we were informed of what was going on and our options. I’ve always know my options would be to not prolong the process for my selfishness. We were given as much time as needed to say goodbye and we left out of a more private exit from the building. But the thing I am more than grateful for is this, the payment card I used was American Express. My payment was taken and we left. I received a text with my receipt. I later received a text letting me know the payment did not go thru because they don’t accept AE. Now they could told me when I handed the card over but they didn’t. I believe it’s because that’s just one thing a grieving pet owner does not need at that time. For that alone, I’m extremely grateful! The text that I received had a link for payment, which I quickly took care of. So if you need emergency veterinary care, consider going here. The staff is extremely supportive, friendly and knowledgeable.

I brought my kitten to another urgent care as Bellevue Veterinary had a 6 hour wait. This other urgent care recommended a specialty vet as I left their place and within 3 hours I was rushing my kitten to Bellevue Veterinary. My kitten unfortunately did not make it and I should have brought him here in the first place. The staff quickly took my kitten and helped me make decisions as everything was happening so quickly and it was super traumatic. They brought me to the back to be with him during his final moments. They were kind and sympathetic. I will bring my pets here 1st.

Thank you for saving Bomi’s life. This pet hospital executed at a very high level. Our chihuahua has heart disease, and I rushed over to Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty, because she was in a critical state and that was the closest place that could take her immediately. I am very thankful and impressed by the service of every single person who helped us through the 24+ hours she was in the hospital. I’m optimistic from all the conversations and changes we will be making that Bomi will give us several more Springs and Summers. Bomi means “Spring” in Korean, and she is our pride and joy. It’s now 30 hours since I rushed her in, and she seems in great health and is happy.

My dog has been receiving treatment at your hospital for her heart condition and Cushing’s, and I have always appreciated how kind and supportive her primary care team has been. Because of that positive experience, today’s emergency visit felt very different and left me quite confused and disappointed. During the emergency exam, it seemed that her medical records were not reviewed, and I was asked to recall details that should already be in her chart. When I asked about a medication based on its ingredient name, the responses felt somewhat dismissive, as I was repeatedly told simply to state what medications she is currently taking. I also felt that there was little effort to check records from other departments, even though she has been actively treated within the same hospital. Overall, the communication came across as unhelpful and unusually curt. I am not trying to single out any specific staff member, and I do not want to escalate the situation. However, considering that I have entrusted my dog’s care to this hospital and have spent over $5,000 in the past 40 days alone, I was surprised by how inconsistent the service felt compared to our previous visits. I truly hope the hospital can review this matter so that even during emergency visits, patient records are properly checked and communication remains clear and respectful. My dog’s health is my highest priority, and I would like to continue trusting your team with her care. Update. “I just had a consultation with the doctor, and it was great. The doctor was extremely kind and explained everything in detail.”

I came in for an emergency visit as my dog had eaten something she shouldn’t have and it was a great experience. The staff is amazing and did such a great job taking care of my dog and calming my nerves. They were upfront about pricing and care specifications, and for an emergency visit I found it very affordable. I highly recommend coming here.

Dog ate raisins. Dog was seen promptly and admitted. We were given updates at least twice/day and all our questions were answered promptly. A doc reached out to us personally multiple times to discuss test results and their impact on prognosis. We were allowed time each day with our dog to visit and spend time with her during her admit. Admin staff were helpful from the get go, with an actual person answering the phone every time. Veterinary staff were knowledgeable and obviously cared about my dog, and if they did not know something admitted it and sought an answer out. Docs were compassionate and honest about reasonable expectations and care options. I could go on and on. My wife and I work in medicine and have been in many (people) hospitals, and this was by far the nicest, most well run, professional hospital I have ever been in. I hope I never need a vet hospital again, but if I do I won't go anywhere else. I am saddened that people are giving poor reviews if they have to wait for care. Please try to remember, the only time you should be worried about waiting in the critical care setting is when you are immediately jumped in front of the queue. Waiting in a hospital is a -good- thing.

My cat was brought here after a bad fall and broken leg. From the moment we called to schedule the appointment for surgery each person we spoke with was professional, thorough, kind, and extremely helpful! My cat had excellent care and has been recovering great. The follow up and recovery notes were very detailed and they allowed a lot of time to discuss the expected recovery and answer questions. I felt like my cat was in great hands the whole time. While I don’t wish a pet emergency for anyone and hope my cat doesn’t have to return, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing pet care!

This place is a scam! So unprofessional! Only want to steal your money! I took my kitty to this ER last night because he ate some spicy fried fish by accident. He got fever 12 hours after and only threw up undigested food ONCE, other than that everything was FINE! NO diarrhea at all! Also before he ate the wrong food he was so energetic and healthy! I kept telling these fact but a guy insisted that my kitty got panleukopenia after the swab test, which I really do not think is 100% accurate and should not be the first thing to do. And these things already cost round $400! Then this guy jump right into the lab work, x-ray and stuff he “highly recommends” to rule out all the possibilities, and they listed a crazy estimate that rocket all the way up to $8000! Can you even believe it! ? What’s more, it took us 3 hours in this ER only to get the initial check and swap test done! It’s 3 am in the morning! First of all, they wasted a lot of time questioning us again and again like “are you sure he had no symptoms before?” “Are you sure he didn’t ate toys rather than the wrong food?”etc.. For god’s sake he just ate spicy fried food, how many more times should I repeat? After all these over-questioning the nurse tried to hear the heart beat and lungs without tools and of course it’s not clear so she went out to get the tool, which cost a lot of time too! Yeah then here’s all the “plans and works” by that doctor guy, with all the horrible things gonna happen to my kitty. Blablabla for an hour! After we decided to not go with their plan, they left up in the room for almost half an hour, not checking us out! FINALLY We can’t wait anymore and rang the bell, a lady came in, kinda “threatening” us with the possible illness our kitty might get if not treating him asap with them. I mean what’s wrong with you guys? Were you thinking how to trap and scare us so that’s why you left us unattended in the room after we already made our mind? Oh, and talk about the swab test🙂. They put the swab in our kitty’s butt and it got a little bit fecal on it, then another lady said that it’s a sign of diarrhea??? Excuse me??? My kitty was waiting for like hours and it was his poop time; his poop was already almost there! You know what I mean? I don’t want to describe more! Anyways we took our baby home all tired and angry. First thing this morning we rushed to another ER, which finished up EVERYTHING within 1.5 hours and cost only $800! They asked about the symptoms, got the kitty initially checked, done the blood test and explained all these matrix and details to us, gave him the due treatments and we’re good to go! The staff members were so caring, helpful and efficient! Turned out that he is FINE! His body was just fighting against the wrong things he ate! The minute my kitty got home he’s all alive again, eating, drinking and playing! The fever is gone! In conclusion, DO NOT go to this place if you want to save your babies and your money!

I've only had to go here for minor emergencies twice but both times they have been very kind, efficient, and focused on helping my pup. I never feel taken advantaged of here. They always try to find the best solution that helps her but never push or guilt you into expensive tests or procedures (which I've had happen at other emergency vets). Highly recommend.

It's been 3 years since I've been here and my heart burns everytime I see this building. I hate the people who work here, I hate there business practises, I hate how cold they were to me. My dog dies here 3 years ago. He had problems breathing and he collapsed from wheezing from the time I got there until then time he got helped I'd say over 5 hrs passed. The reason so much time passed is that I was young at the time I never opened up a credit card so I had trouble getting approved. I ended up needing to go to get my dads credit card bc he couldn't use it over the phone. Anyways by the time I came back I really felt my dog might not be making it and I could tell he was suffering I ended up taking his leash off and for the record I know you want dogs on leash but he is one of those dogs the shadow u when he isn't on a leash he was afraid of most things and people and he had trouble breathing so I didn't want him having a harder time breathing. They help another dog before mine when I came back with dads card. What I don't u understand about these people is why they couldn't just take him and give him oxygen from the get go instead of waiting outside. I can't shake the feeling that they could have made me pay for my dogs oxygen and he could stay there at least. Idk I'm not okay with what happened with my dog all those years ago Ioved him more than anything and they treated him with bullshit policies and cared more about how I was going to pay instead of helping. After three years I don't like looking at this building I feel deeply wronged and I wished my dog at least could've died by my side. No one deserves to have there most loved animal treated as a paycheck. Edit response to the owners message I visited this emergency vet in 2022 at this exact address when my dog died. My previous review reflects my real experience at this physical location. I see the business now says they ‘opened in 2023,’ but unless the building, staff, and operations were fully replaced, this appears to be a rebrand or ownership change — not a brand new hospital. If the company is saying they weren’t operating here before 2023, I would genuinely appreciate clarification. My experience did happen at this facility, and the memory of what happened to my dog remains painful.** Please explain whether the emergency operations that were active in 2022 were under your current management, or whether this is the same facility under a new name. I was able to recognize this vet from the decor, light fixes, coffee area, waiting area, the bushes outside where my dog peed for the last time and the entry door. I even remember the operation room they took me into to try to explain the situation.

Due to my cat's preexisting conditions and moving a whole bunch, I've had to visit a number of vets/animal hospitals across the country. This is without a doubt of one the best facilities I've been to. My cat's condition became worse over the summer and ultimately passing not long after. We had to make regular trips to the ER and with the internal medicine team. The team showed great expertise, thoroughness, care, and organization. In addition, the vet and care team was not pushy with medical care and was transparent/realistic with diagnosis. If you're considering working with internal medicine, call ahead to schedule and get on the wait-list because it could be weeks out.

I had an urgent scare with my cat and rushed her to Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty. The staff was incredibly kind and calm and took her in right away. You can tell they genuinely care more about the well-being of animals than profit. I’m so grateful for their compassion and quick response. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

Hands down the best Vet I’ve ever been to. Very clean, professional, friendly staff and the assistant who took my pup back was very calming so it made the experience for me and my pup better. I will 100% be taking him back and recommend to others!

Our precious dog was attacked by another dog and this place took care of her so quickly, professionally and kindly. Our dog got so much love and tenderness and all the meds, cleaning and treatment she needed. We cannot say enough about each person we met here. Their compassion, knowledge and skills helped our sweet dog so much.

Brought in my pet for a medical emergency at 1:00 AM last night. We called ahead and the team was ready to provide immediate medical attention. The entire staff was extremely professional and caring. Thank you to the team for making the process so much more bearable.

From the moment we called to the moment we walked in, the staff was kind and supportive. We had a unique circumstance with a baby wild rabbit, and they never made us feel silly. Our family and the bunny were treated with such love and respect. The reception was clean with plenty of seating. It also offered alcoves if you need privacy. The staff were knowledgeable and informative as well. Highly recommend for any emergency pet care.

Terrible experience on two occasions- the first time my dog had something stuck in her throat and was unable to bark. They charged me over $600 for x ray and told me she was fine. My dog continued to have problems and at her regular vet a week later they discovered a piece of bone stuck between her tonsils. Why this place could not catch it is beyond me. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. At our most recent visit where my dog was pooping blood and had stopped eating and drinking, we were made to wait over four hours with no communication on when my dog would be seen. When I asked the reception they told me they had their hands full with critical cases. While we were waiting several people of a specific race who brought in their dogs (for various issues like infections etc ) were looked at within a few minutes of waiting. This seemed discriminatory and safe to say we will not be going back.

We have been referring patients to BVES for emergency and specialty care since they opened. We've been very happy with the care and communication. Our clients are happy too. Thank you BVES!

Our cat has been struggling with some symptoms which our primary Vet suggested we see an internist for. We tried another hospital and had an awful experience, and were ready to give up. Our Vet let us know she had trusted Dr. Garraway with her own dog - and he proved to be a Godsend. Our cat's symptoms are tricky and identifying the root cause is even trickier, but Dr. Garraway had spend a lot of time, looking through all of the details - and was able to identify multiple root causes, and ways to treat them. On top of that - he spend a significant amount of time going through with us in deep detail all of the information, and what to do about it. He has excellent knowledge and great beside manner. Highly suggest Dr. Garraway for anybody looking for an Internist here in the Seattle area.

Several years ago I brought my dog here for TPLO surgery and was relived when Dr. Davis was able to see him quickly and got him on his way to recovery. She was really helpful in explaining the process and how to handle the fact that his other leg may need surgery later. Now a few years later the other leg needs surgery too so I immediately came back. Dr. Davis confirmed it and, due to scheduling, worked with Dr. Robinson at the clinic to help me get faster care for my dog. Dr. Robinson was also great and quickly answered a few recovery questions I had. My dog is well on his road to recovery and it means so much that everyone here was so willing to help my dog get care quickly. The entire staff here have been wonderful. Your pet is in great hands here!

My cat was brought in for late stage cancer. I'm glad they were so close to where I live and were able to give him treatment in his last days.

Compassionate staff took great care of our puppy during an emergency. We were anxious to be away from our girl overnight so the staff let us stay during nighttime visiting hours which was incredibly reassuring. Thanks for the great care 💗

One of the best veterinary hospitals I ever used. The staff were all so very caring and kind. Dr. Lewis especially. I brought my cat Morticia in the weekend of July 19th because she was in respiratory distress. They kept her overnight and I was able to bring her home. Sadly, despite my best efforts at home care, she went into respiratory distress again on 7/26 and I had to bring her back to send her to the rainbow bridge. I was so grateful that Dr. Lewis was on shift to help her go to the rainbow bridge. He is so kind and compassionate, a true gem of a vet. I truly am grateful to him and the team for their care of my sweet but spicy girl.
07.23.2025
Extremely kind and empathetic team. They went above and beyond when it came to giving my 17 Dachshund the dignity he deserved. They let me spend the very little time we had left with him outside. When it was his time the entire team ran outside with me so I could say good bye outside. Thank you truly for being so flexible it shows the compassion everyone has that works there. They let me hold my Dachshund in the parking lot as long as my wife and I needed that night. And when we returned inside the level of empathy we received was truly outstanding. My gratitude to everyone that works here you truly care for animals.
07.14.2025
Cannot recommend Dr Davis enough! My 4 year old dog needed TPLO surgery and everything from the consultation to the follow ups, she was absolutely fantastic. Really thorough in explanations and answering any questions I had, as well as doing an amazing job with the surgery itself. I even emailed the team with a healing question post surgery and they got back to me quickly and showed so much care for my boy.
07.11.2025
This hospital is extremely unethical and overcharges for everything. My cat was only treated for a fever, stayed in the hospital for one day, and had an abdominal ultrasound, and it already cost 7,000. It’s just unbelievable.
06.28.2025
Went to their emergency vet around 10pm last night for my dog’s first time cluster seizures and the level of compassion and empathy everyone in this building has is beautiful. I use a lot of dark humor to cope and I kept laughing and crying, and they were so supportive throughout the whole situation. The price was also very affordable, I was so afraid I wouldn’t be able to afford and it was half the price they quoted me. Dr. Swanson was so amazing, he explained things well and spoke in this super gentle tone that made me cry harder. Highly recommend this place!

We were referred to Bellevue Vet Emergency & Speciality from our primary vet due to a case of severe and persistent pneumonia in our small chihuahua/terrier mix. The amazing doctors and staff at Bellevue Vet were not only able to cure his pneumonia, but they were also able to uncover the underlying reason as to why he was getting sick so often. I truly cannot express how helpful, supportive, comforting, and competent everyone single employee here is. Dr Johnston, Dr Davis, and their teams went ABOVE AND BEYOND in helping our pup get better….not only did they provide excellent care for our dog’s immediate health concerns, but they also spent time to uncover what our dog’s underlying health issues were in addition to communicating extensively with myself and my husband. Overall, the entire crew at Bellevue Emergency & Speciality are truly a dream team. I would give them a 10 Star review if I could!!

If you value prompt care and being informed, go somewhere else. We brought our cat in because she was breathing abnormally for no reason, panting with her tongue hanging out. Naturally, we were terrified and expected that we would receive prompt attention or at least some kind of communication while we waited. Unfortunately, that was far from the case. We waited for four hours without any updates. During that time, we sat in the waiting room consumed by worry, with no idea if our cat was going to be okay or how serious her condition really was. I understand that emergencies need to be triaged, but a quick update—anything—would have made a world of difference. When we finally asked for an update, we were told she would be seen next. But then another 2 hours went by. No one came to speak with us. No one told us if anything about her condition. Just complete silence. We asked again and were told once more she was next to be seen; another hour went by. Eventually, we asked if we could see her and made the difficult decision to take her home, still without having spoken to a vet or received any meaningful explanation. Later that night, I read through reviews online and was shocked to see how many people have gone through the same experience here—long waits, no updates, and pets left without attention while their owners are left in the dark. Clearly, they haven’t learned from any of that feedback. When people bring their pets to an emergency room, the least a facility can do is keep them informed. Compassionate care includes communication. This place is obviously seriously understaffed. Never again.

Thank you again so much to Juliette, Veterinarian Chan, and the whole clinic staff who helped us last night with our little dog who was in a very critical condition. They went above and beyond and helped to save our little Chloe's life! At the moment we stepped inside we knew our dog was in good hands. Glad I'm here to confirm that🙏 Keep up the good work Bellevue Veterinary

I brought my 9-month-old puppy to Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty for urgent care due to mouth bleeding and loss of appetite. She had not eaten for 24 hours. After intake, she was taken to the back for evaluation and then left unsupervised for over 30 minutes while the vet tended to a STAT case that walked in. I was told her vitals were stable, but no one communicated with me about next steps or wait time. After nearly an hour in the exam room with no update, I asked the receptionist if she knew how much longer would we have to wait because it was getting late and my puppy was becoming restless. The receptionist was dismissive, visibly irritated, aggressive, and ultimately told me I was “free to leave.” My puppy received no diagnosis, no exam from a veterinarian, and no treatment — just a wet patch of rubbing alcohol on her side that was never explained. I remained calm and respectful throughout, and still left without the care we came for. I found the lack of communication and professionalism unacceptable, and I left feeling completely heartbroken. Additionally, I did feel discriminated against by the front desk staff. She was very aggressive and disrespectful towards me.

We had an outstanding experience with Dr. Robinson and his surgical team. From the very beginning, they were attentive, professional, and incredibly responsive to all of our questions and concerns. They took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave us great peace of mind. We’re so grateful for the level of dedication, skill, and kindness they provided. Highly recommend Dr. Robinson and his team to anyone seeking exceptional surgical care for their pet.

Thank you so much. The medical staff here are incredibly professional, compassionate, and warm-hearted. Their quick response and dedication were a tremendous help to me. Lala was unfortunately hit by a car in the evening, and the 24-hour emergency service here provided a thorough examination. When they discovered air leaking from Lala’s lungs, they promptly treated it, saving Lala’s life and sparing my family and me from the heartbreak of losing her. A special thanks to Dr. Megan her expertise and patience helped Lala recover quickly and return to my life. I’m truly grateful to all of you.

Last night I had to take my dog in immediately for some serious health concerns. The care team was so compassionate, empathetic, and informative. They kept me well informed during the hours I was there and provided my dog with the best care I could have asked for. She ended up passing away and I couldn’t speak more highly about the vet and all the supportive staff at Bellevue Veterinary. I will be forever grateful and would always recommend their care.

We have had the unfortunate pleasure over the last 1.5 months to work with several veterinarians and departments (ER, Surgical, Oncology) at Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty with our dogs, Hank and Hyla. Dr. Anastacia Davis, Dr. Robinson, Dr. Koshino, and Dr. Bose (and I'm sure more) have all been incredible in both of our pet's cancer treatments so far and I can't speak highly enough about their excellent bedside manner, communication, quality of care, and empathy for our pets (and me). The front desk associates, technicians and assistants have been caring in consistently, and the documentation sent following visits is excellent for us to maintain consistent communication with our regular vet. We know we have many visits with them ahead of us, but their excellent standards of care that have been consistently delivered make us confident that we've chosen the right place to provide excellent treatment for our pets. For pet owners, I enjoy that this clinic works with Trupanion to process insurance prior to payment - while we don't have this pet insurance and I am not positive if this is a test or regularly offered service, I can't imagine the relief this brings to pet owners who have insurance for their pets.
03.13.2025
Unethical and Money-driven I had a terrible experience at Bellevue Emergency. During my visit, they gave me one diagnosis, which completely changed my dog’s treatment plan. I later learned that they told another vet to confirm a different diagnosis, as documented in an email—but they never informed me directly. Instead of correcting their mistake, they pushed for $3,000 in unnecessary tests and refused to disclose key information unless I scheduled another visit with thousands of dollars test. If a diagnosis changes, a responsible vet should inform the pet owner immediately, not hide it behind additional costly visits. This place prioritizes profits over transparency. I would not trust them again.

Absolutely horrible experience here! My dog's eye was swollen and hurt and they ran some tests but didn't find signs of trauma so they sent us home with steroid drops and no answers!!! They did not bother to dig deeper to find out why his eye was swollen and shut! They just sent us home with absolutely no diagnosis. Turns out my dog had glaucoma and they didn't find it! We trusted what they said and the drops they gave us but they were careless in their diagnosis. If the doctor had diagnosed my dog correctly, they would have been able to control his eye pressure to avoid permanent nerve damage and loss of vision. Because of their incorrect diagnosis, my dog now has no vision in his left eye and no hope for reversal of his vision. Absolutely careless and uninformed! Our family is extremely heartbroken for our pup who now has gone blind in his left eye at the age of 3.

Highly recommend bringing your pet here if needed. Everyone is so caring and compassionate, and the staff, techs, and doctors are incredibly competent. They took wonderful care of our kitty during her last days and I cannot overstate the peace of mind that provides.

The team here at Bellevue saved my cat’s life. Over his three week saga, the amount of love and support they not only gave to King, but to me as well, made this entire process bearable. We will never be able to thank them enough for everything that they did!!

We came here to see Dr. Davis about a nose surgery for my kitten. The facility is cutting edge, the seating is comfy, the aesthetic is calm and the receptionists are very kind. But most of all, Dr. Davis is an absolute rock star!! We appreciate so so much that she was willing to try a novel treatment on my little guy. She is so precise and caring and she really put so much energy and thought into the surgery. It has really been a life changing procedure for him. I would also like to say that her whole team was outstanding and really cared for us through the whole process. We will definitely be coming back here if we need anything else and if we ever need an ER I know that we would be in excellent hands. Thank you Bellevue Veterinary Emergency and Specialty! Edit: I wanted to come back here to add to my review as we've had another excellent experience at Bellevue veterinary emergency and speciality. The same little guy that had the nose surgery ended up needed to see an internist for a bit of a mystery illness. Dr. Moeller is exceptionally knowledgeable and patient and really helped my guy super quickly and efficiently. We are very fortunate to have been able to meet with her soon after his emergency visit. I also need to shout out to Noah from internal medicine. He has been an absolute angel to deal with. Despite us having a rough few weeks he was always so ready to help and to give real empathy. Sometimes it's hard to get in contact with our local vet and he absolutely kept things flowing. My local vet even said they appreciated how kind and lovely he was when speaking to them. You are absolutely in the right career, Noah. You have made a scary situation much better with your support. Thank you. 💚

We came across this veterinarian during a frantic Google search in the middle of the night when my cat became suddenly unwell. My husband took her in while I called ahead to let them know about her concerning symptoms. The person who answered the phone did such a good job of immediately letting me know that what was happening was an emergency and then asked me some (scary) questions about CPR and consent to treat my cat immediately when my husband got there. When my husband got there my cat was swept out of his arms and immediately seen by caring staff who did their best to treat her pain. When the veterinarian spoke to my husband she also was willing to accommodate my request to listen/speak over the speakerphone. She did such a good job of explaining the physiology of what happened to my cat and the possible treatments/outcomes for her. She did so in a nonjudgemental and kind way. Unfortunately my cat passed. Despite the awful circumstances with which we were introduced to this clinic, I have nothing but warm feelings and gratitude for them for taking such gentle care of my cat (and me!). They do a very tough job with a lot of grace.

We just had our first visit with internal medicine and I was so impressed with Dr. Johnston and the technician working with her! I felt heard and like a part of the team when we were coming up with a plan for my girl.

We can't speak highly enough about Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty. We woke up in the middle of the night and our senior golden Mac was panting heavily. We turned on the light and saw he was having trouble walking - stumbling and running into the wall, and finally just splayed out, with a tilted head. His eyes were rolling back and forth. We were devastated for him, and confused. Is he having a stroke? Why can't he walk? We have had a bad experience with emergency vet hospitals before, so we were going to wait until morning for his primary care team, and then he started throwing up. We realized he needed to be seen asap. We called Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty and got the cut of their jib right way. They answered immediately and were professional. They told us they would expect Mac. We pulled up at midnight, and two LVTs (licensed vet techs) were waiting in lobby with a gurney. They gently moved Mac onto the gurney and rolled him in to the back. The facility was clean and modern and felt like a hospital. I was crying, expecting the worst. The vet on call saw him immediately. Within 20 minutes she came into our room and gave us her differential diagnosis, which our primary later confirmed - canine vestibular disease. We were discharged with anti nausea meds. There were three LVTs - all compassionate, smart and professional, in addition to the Vet on call. We later learned that this facility is "heavy on LVTs" - e/g/ lots of training. It showed. In summary this is an extremely high quality place and I recommend it highly. And Mac is on the mend.

Our cat had a whole mess of symptoms and was rapidly declining. After deciding we couldn’t wait for a scheduled visit with our regular vet, we brought her in. From check-in to discharge, the whole team was compassionate. We received wonderful, effective care - it was like bringing a completely different cat home. Records were promptly shared with our regular vet and oncologist so that we could continue on a long term treatment plan.

Our fur baby had to have his ACL repaired and we were so grateful to find Dr. Robinson practicing here. He did benjis revision surgery on his patella’s so we really wanted him again as our surgeon. The surgery went great, and Benji is on his way to recovery. The team in general are great!!

Wow. Super kind, extremely clear explanation. What a huge win for the Bridal Trials area - a great 24 hour emergency vet. Whoop! Thanks a ton for helping us with our Sheltie in the middle of the night last night!

I waited a week since my dog died in this hospital to write this review. My dog came in with signs of pancreatitis and/or liver disease caused by antibiotics and steroids she had to take for her meningitis and an infection in her leg (she had had a leg amputated prior to bringing her here). The surgeon from BluePearl Seattle saw the bile amount in my dog's blood and immediately found a place that had internal medicine. This is the only spot they found that could see my dog right away. At first Dr. Johnston was going to do aggressive treatment with blood transfusion, feeding tube and IV. I left on a Monday sobbing because I knew pancreatitis issues are really hard to overcome. But that same night the internal medicine doc called and said that they tried to put a feeding tube on her but she bled so much they stopped. She started eating on her own (thanks to nausea meds) so they didnt try again. They were giving all medications orally. Because she was again doing super well. At night I was told I could take my dog home the next day (wednesday) because she was eating on her own and showing signs of improvement in her TBIL. Note she was anemic for days prior to see this doctor, but the blood transfusion wasnt done cause her red cells were not dropping under 25% or so they said. This was false, she was at 20%.- from her records- The next day dr Megan Davis was caring for her. She told me that my dog had eaten only once that day (Wednesday). But I could still take her home since her main doctor had approved it. We got there to get her, got all the meds and instructions, and then we were told when they went to get her she had collapsed. She died right then. Dr.Johnston tried to figure out what she could have missed but couldn’t come up with anything . Then I found out that Dr. Davis indicated my pup was having episodes in which she couldnt breath well and she had a higher heart rate with cough during the night. That she was worried about possible blood clots (her blood pressure was low but heart rate up). I was never told that my dog had those issues when we talked Wednesday morning. I was told she had not eaten much but nothing else. If I had known my dog was not breathing well, and that she was "off" that day, and that there were concerns of blood clotting - like it was explained later to me, I would have come visited her at least, and maybe euthanize her if she was not breathing right, and declining. I have no clue why this doctor never thought that maybe, we wanted to see her, and have her see us before something could happen. Luna was given palliative care and not aggressive care as she should have had. Her liver enzymes kept going higher, and her anemia never got treated . She collapsed, then went agonal, and who knows what else. All I hope is that it was short. She had gone thru so much pain already. Yes now she is not suffering anymore but I still think she did not get the treatment she needed to have the chance to overcome her disease. I think I should have just taken her to the emergency room at BluePearl. But then again, I was following what the surgeon thought was in her best interest. He didnt know much about this hospital as they are not the same company. I do not recommend the internal medicine dept here. I don’t know that they know how to treat acute pancreatitis. My best guess, since the doctors couldn’t come up with anything else than a blood clot is that Luna died of pancreatitis shock. Dr. M. Davis and other night doctors were worried about blood clotting, her having low blood pressure and rapid heart rate…. Signs of shock anyone?, why didnt she tell me or help her? and give her the drug she was given (after she passed) to elevate blood pressure when they saw the blood pressure drop?. Luna was not a priority here. She didnt deserve to end the way she did. At all. They didnt do what they said they would. And I am afraid they don’t have that knowledge.

My family had to bring in our good boy a couple weeks ago to say our goodbyes. My dad called the Vet on the way there and they said they would have a team ready and waiting. They got him in almost immediately, made him comfortable. The vet there was super nice and helpful. We could not have had a better experience than we did. They did an amazing job to show support, efficiency and kindness. They were very patient with us in letting us have plenty of time to stay with our boy after his passing. All on a Sunday afternoon. Thankful for this experience and highly recommend this team.

We brought our sweet girl dog Sage in with her second bout of pneumonia this year. She had to be admitted for a few days, and while she was there, they did a procedure to look into her lungs and see what was going on. They took the time and effort to figure out the underlying causes of her pneumonia. We are still waiting for some of the test results, but we have our sweet girl back, and a solid plan to get her the rest of the way better and keep her that way. Everyone we talked to was so kind. Dr. Moeller went above and beyond, spending time on the phone with us, explaining everything that was done, and what we needed to do next. She was very clear about what tests she thought were necessary, and what we could wait to do, or skip. I appreciated her kindness and her honesty. When we picked Sage up, Lindsey spent more than 30 minutes reviewing Sage's notes and care plan. It was such a thorough explanation, that I feel like I know what to do, even though it's pretty complicated. Sage is going to need care for a while, and I'm glad to work with the team here. They're excellent, and they saved my sweet girl.

If I could give 10 stars I would. From the surgeons, oncology and the amazing staff taking calls/scheduling this clinic exceeds our every hope and dream. They are diligent, committed, compassionate and gave us the most outstanding care in what was my darkest hour. We are commuting from Monroe and will continue despite having access to providers closer. Not only is the care top notch but the understanding of financial concerns is provided with a recognizable effort to ease or offset any burdens. You are not made to feel like your ability to provide care for your pet is prioritized or makes your family member any less important if there is a struggle. When some would have denied a complex case these people stuck with it and have given us the greatest gift with our sweet boy Trigger, more time 🤍

My best friend battled lymphoma and the end was yesterday. I drove nearly 3 hours to get to Bellevue Veterinary Emergency. We called while enroute to explain the situation. The receptionist told us they would have a team waiting for us. It was Sunday morning. We were greeted at the door and they whisked Rusty in to the trauma room to get him comfortable. We were placed in our own private exam room with its own exit door. Twelve family members arrived, massaged, petted and talked to him as he took his last breath. Dr. Lewis was absolutely amazing, emotional, and supportive. The staff there did an outstanding job for Rusty and his family. It was incredibly inexpensive. I couldn’t have been more relieved to have a heartbreaking experience as good as they made it.

I'm a pet sitter and today one of my clients and her neighbors found two German Shepherds running loose in their neighborhood. They didn't have any collars. We brought them here to scan for a microchip. Thankfully they are chipped. The receptionist called for contact info and spoke to their human. He came and picked up the dogs. They went out of their way to help reunite these dogs to their human. Thank you!

I want to deeply thank the staff at Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital for provided dedicated care to our cat before he passed away. Unfortunately, we had to opt for euthanasia as complications occurred. However, Dr. Garroway was tremendously helpful in diagnosing his complicated issue and discussing with us in a kind and informative way. Part of our decision ending up being due to finances. Like any 24-hour emergency vet with specialists, the price added up. However, I certainly understand why. When expressing my concerns about costs, they provided great support and did not give any judgement.

The staff at Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty took amazing care of my Frenchie girl. Full disclosure - I’m a veterinarian in general practice out of state and was referred to Dr. A. Davis for brachycephalic airway correction surgery. We took a 2-week road trip just to see Dr. Davis. The surgery went really well and she is fully recovered. She is now much happier, super energetic, and breathing so so well. Thank you, Dr. Davis - you’re amazing. Apologies again for my girl’s rude behavior during her stay. We highly recommend Dr. Davis and her team.

5 star for the surgery department, Dr. Robinson and the team. My cat had a BIG open wound on her tail due to some complex abscesses (cause still unknown), we visited an ER in Redmond and then followed by 2 other vet/urgent care visits, but all the vets said they couldn’t do the surgery to close the open wounds because it’s the tail area which doesn’t have much skin for sutures, and they don’t have the expertise. Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty surgery department was on the list of recommendations from the Urgent Care, so I called with not much hope. I’m so glad I called this hospital, they scheduled my cat for a surgery consultation just two days later, and we visited Dr. Robinson, he scheduled a same-day surgery right after the consultation. I really appreciate that because we’ve had so many visits to different ERs/vets these weeks and my cat was in a lot of pain and stress. The surgery went well and the big wound was closed. And the surgery costed $2600, even lower than the low estimate (3k+) they initially gave me. Our first ER visit in another Redmond ER costed me 4k+ for just some examinations and medications, no surgery was done there, so I was quite surprised to see the surgery here costed so much less. They’re also so generous. My regular vet charged me $24 for an E-collar, but Bellevue Vet Emergency gave 3 of the same type of cones to me for free after my cat’s surgery. Dr Robinson and the team (Jessica, another lady sorry I don’t know her name, front desk staff Juliet) are all professional, caring. I’m so grateful for their great work and care for my cat. I highly recommend this hospital for cats in need for surgeries.

We have had nothing but extremely positive experiences with the front desk and Oncology clinic for our dog, Willie. Any time I have called the front desk, the girls who answer are patient, listen to every detail, never make me feel silly or rushed, and are able to help quickly. The oncology department is kind, compassionate, and thorough. Every single employee has acted with only the highest level of professionalism, and I feel their fees are very reasonable given the nature of the clinic (and I am used to going to “affordable”/lower cost clinics for regular care). Highly recommend if you need an emergency or specialty service to go here.

Dr Garraway (specialty vet) and Lauren (vet tech) are truly amazing, and I recommend them a million times overs. Something that truly stood out to me is when my sweet cat Frankie came in with chronic GI issues, Dr Garraway made the time to describe what we would be testing for when it came to the biopsies, what her ultrasound was showing that was concerning, drew a diagram for me and made sure I understood/answered all my questions or concerns. Although her diagnosis turned out to be not the best, he remained factual and optimistic even supporting my yearn to make her food homemade and gave me the resources to do so. He also makes sure to let me know to call with any concerns. Lauren has such a comforting energy. She walked me through how to properly give vitamin b injections and made sure I felt confident doing so. She thinks of all the little things we may need like wrapping light sensitive medications, pee pads after anesthesia and just letting us know she is a call away if we have concerns. This diagnosis wrecked me if I am being honest and to have both Dr Garraway and Lauren's kindness and in my corner has just meant the world to me. I know they are so so busy but they still make time to approach with care and empathy which makes these hard times a bit more manageable.

It took me a while to write this review, but I have to express my immense gratitude to the Bellevue Vet Emergency & Specialty team for saving my cat's life. He was hospitalized there for five nights and six days, and their care was exceptional. When my cat's condition suddenly worsened, I was overseas and couldn't be with him. I was terrified and felt completely helpless. However, as soon as my family brought him in, the team sprang into action with remarkable speed and precision. The emergency team did everything they could to help him recover, both physically and mentally. While his physical symptoms didn't improve right away, they made sure he was comfortable and well-cared for. The staff was professional and incredibly compassionate, always taking the time to explain each step and reassure me during such a stressful time. When I explained that English is my second language, the doctors wrote personalized diagnosis letters for each situation, using simpler language until I fully understood. The staff and nurses were fully dedicated, which gave me immense comfort during this critical time. It was clear they genuinely cared for animals and treated them like family. Even when the staff rotated, those at home were kept up to date on my cat's condition. Thanks to their quick response and skilled intervention, my cat is now on the road to recovery. Their commitment and kindness made a world of difference. I can't thank them enough for giving me a second chance to be with for my cat and for the exceptional care they provided. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of urgent veterinary care.

I brought my 15 year old cat in with acute respiratory distress. Sadly she didn't respond to aggressive treatment and we had let her go. I highly recommend Bellevue Emergency Vet clinic. 24x7. Very transparent, professional, and caring. Updates several times a day. Willing to have the hard conversation. All three doctors (Newman, Bose, ans Lewis) and the entire staff were so compassionate and patient, and forthcoming. They lined up all the potential costs ahead of time. Listened to our stories, never felt rushed or impatient. They allowed us into the ICU to be with her as she passed. They sent her home in a custom box with ice packs. It's the little things.

Misdiagnosed my dog with a grade 3 heart murmur. We followed up with our primary and did a blood test that indicated 0 signs of heart issues. 2 stars for being open on July 4th.

I am so grateful to the Bellevue Vet Receptionist Lisa who picked up the phone four times responding and helping out me and my dog through a challenging situation. She went out of her way to give me resources and gave helpful tips a number of times, she was knowledgeable and kind. Thank you so much!

My wife and I brought our girl in one night thinking she might just be a little sick. We figured it was no big deal and we’d be taking her home an hour later. Boy were we wrong. After over a month of tears, anxiety, and hopelessness, I can’t express enough how much we appreciate the time, care, effort, and love the team here offered. They took her in as their own and did everything in their power to treat her. After 3 grueling weeks, we took our baby home. A week later she got the best news possible on her first check-up! We don’t know what the future holds with her condition, but we do know that Dr. Robinson and the rest of the team saved her life and gave us a chance to spend more time with our little girl. Little did they know we had a very very close person pass away shortly before we brought her in - we needed this good news. Thank you to everyone there for everything you did! We couldn’t be more grateful.

My cat wasn't able to urinate after a visit to the vet and was recommended to come here instead, however it was the worst decision I could have made for him. The first doctor told us he was better than expected, gave us medicine and discharged him the next day. We ended up taking him back and was helped by a different doctor who said he needed to be hospitalized. Then we were called again and was told that our cat had taken the catheter out and was fine. We asked if they were sure since this was the second visit and I couldn't afford a third. Well we ended up taking him back the very next day and the second doctor told us that he needs surgery. The surgery was quoted at 6k-9k, we work regular jobs so there was no way we would be able to afford that after now THREE visits to the hospital. Each visit costed 3-5k so we asked for options. The two options they provided was a payment plan or a credit card, neither being a suitable option. Luckily, the doctor was able to help us find a different clinic (Penn Cove - Coupeville) two hours away from bellevue who could do the surgery. The doctor said he could be transferred and that my cat had urinated a few hours before we picked him up. When my boyfriend picked up my cat, the woman upfront said that he didn't urinate since two or three AM that same day. There was some kind of miscommunication or a lack of understanding here between the doctor and the lady up front. We took him and took the risk, drove two hours only to find out that he didn't need the surgery. They put him on medicine and told us that he was just irritated by the catheter and was urinating fine. It's been a few days since we went to Penn Cove and my cat is doing so much better, he's back to normal, and is happy. I spent a total of $200 at Penn Cove only to spend $7000 at this hospital for the wrong opinion. To everyone with a cat, please do not take your pet here and look into other + better options such as Penn Cove. The only good thing that came out of this visit was finding Penn Cove. The hospital overcharged 10x what we paid for and am very dissatisfied, frustrated, and sad about this whole situation as there was never any real solution. Yes the doctors are nice but this place just seems like a scam.

Everyone at Bellevue Vet ER was so kind and loved on my grumpy old lady Sphynx cat. She had an acute issue related to a chronic condition. Dr. Tsang listened closely to everything I had been through with her, was knowledgeable and caring, and created an effective and mutually agreeable treatment plan that helped my cat perfectly. Thanks to the excellent care between our usual vet and Bellevue, she is continuing to thrive and her condition is now well controlled.

On Thursday night, we found our cat crawling and mewing in pain in our driveway. We suspected that she was ran over by a car and rushed to bring our cat to Bellevue Vet Emergency and Specialty. Dr. Jahar after a brief check told us she is highly likely to have saddle thrombus, which is very deadly, and suggested euthanasia. He also offered X-ray to rule out any physical trauma, and he said it's for our own comfort because for sure the cat got heart disease. We declined anyway and started looking for second opinion from other facilities. Luckily we found another vet that would take her in, and turned out she was in fact got hit by a car and was having a broken pelvis. They said she is kicking by both hind legs, so definitely not saddle thrombus. Surgery took place 2 days later (Saturday afternoon) and now she is resting in her own bed. Had we listened to Dr. Jahar, we might had made a grave mistake and had to say a sudden and bitter goodbye to our little feline friend. I understand that he was having 4 other patients that night, but he didn't take xray before announcing that she had a rare heart disease. I advise pet owners to be conservative and critical, and take extra precaution when lives are on the line. We spent $400+ for him to wrongly diagnose and tell us to euthanize our friend. Also this is one of very few hospitals that can perform pelvis surgeries on cats, so they were supposed to know bone related incidents.

Our dog was given 30-60 days to live without chemo treatment and every place I called to get an oncology evaluation was 4 weeks, I called Bellevue specialty and they were able to get our dog in the next day. They laid out all our options and made sure we felt good about our choice to pursue treatment. Dr. Koshino and the staff are amazing. Our dog has severe anxiety at the vet and needs several sedatives for his vet visits and they do their best to make him feel comfortable and are always happy to see him even when he’s being a grump. They are always willing to work with my schedule and we truly cannot thank them enough for all they’ve done for our dog. Unfortunately the treatment did not take for him. Dr Koshino laid out all our options upon his most recent ultrasound and we ultimately had to put him down. The staff could not have been more incredible during the painful time. They truly loved him and we are forever grateful for the time they did buy us with him. The oncology staff is exceptional and I’m glad he received so much love even on his worst days. They cared about him and our family even if they could not save him

I am giving Dr Davis 100 stars I cannot overstate my praise for and gratitude to Dr. Anastacia Davis. She saved my beloved pug’s life. Rachel had a tumor on her right muzzle that my primary care veterinarian said only a specialized veterinarian surgeon could remove, and that it needed to be done promptly. We had a consultation appointment with Dr. Davis within just a few days. She gave Rachel a complete examination and thoroughly explained the surgery to me. She answered all my questions and took the time to get to know Rachel so that she would be more comfortable on the day of her surgery. The surgery went very well. Dr. Davis discovered another life threatening issue and corrected Rachel’s breathing condition at the same time. That really helped with the costs and, more importantly, spared Rachel from having to go under anesthesia again and undergo another surgery. Dr. Davis personally called me before and after the surgery, and then again before she went home for the evening. Her assistant Sarah also called a few times as well. They were responsive and easy to communicate with. Finding out that my perfect four year old pug had cancer was devastating for me and my family. Being able to put Rachel in the skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate hands of Dr. Davis and her vanquished my fears and sadness. That kind of relief and peace of mind are rare and priceless. Today, Rachel is home, healthy, and cancer-free. Two weeks post-surgery, Rachel is back to walking 3k races with the family. One would not even be able to tell she had life threatening cancer! Dr. Davis made a traumatic experience as smooth and pain- free as possible. Not only did Dr. Davis save Rachel, but in doing so, she also saved me and my entire family. Thank you again to Dr. Davis and the staff at Bellevue Veterinary Emergency and Specialty. Dr. Davis deeply and sincerely cared about Rachel’s comfort and well-being, and I am confident that we will have many wonderful years ahead with Rachel.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Koshino in the Oncology Department. I was very impressed. She was very informative, kind and professional. The follow up testing was done very efficiently and professionally. Dr. Davis in the surgery department has also been superb and professional. She has performed a mass removal and 2 back to back TPLO surgeries for my dog. Her compassion and expertise is exquisite. I know my fur baby is in the best hands he can be in at Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty. The facilities are new and clean and the front desk was very nice and professional. I also like the fact that they work with my Trupanion insurance for my pet which allows me to get the proper treatment I need without a large out of pocket expense. I live in Seattle, but I find I can be to their clinic easily within 20 to 30 minutes which is quicker than some of the ER/specialty facilities here in Seattle. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking treatment for their pets at 500%!!

Dr. Anastasia Davis is a very unprofessional doctor. She has very little surgical experience, so she will experiment with your dog and learn through the experiments. I subsequently consulted with many other doctors and was told that my dog only needed the most common orthopedic surgery, but unfortunately she was treated with a very drastic and inappropriate approach by Dr. Davis. After a failed surgery that cost more than $10,000, we were told my dog was still at risk of amputation. My dog had repair surgery done at another hospital for about $8,000. Dr. Davis will leave your dog with trauma that will never be fully repaired, stay away from this doctor.
